Lena is CEO of U.Group, an advanced technology and creative design company committed to creating customer-centric innovation in the public and private sectors. An early advocate for government modernization, Lena spearheaded the creation of 18F, an in-house digital services team at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), and brought a similar model to the Canadian Digital Service (CDS). Lena’s expertise was also tapped in the private sector as she led the Amazon Web Services Public Sector (AWS PS) global expansion and headed up the AWS PS business in Canada. Lena serves as a Board Member at the Internet Society, Canada Chapter, and on the Canadian American Business Council, where she co-chairs the policy committee. She is a frequent commentator, speaker, and advocate on digital adoption, digital inclusion, and women in technology. Lena received her MBA from the University of Western Ontario and her undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa.
