From Policy to Capability: Building Canada’s Digital Future

WHEN:

Thursday, December 3, 2026 | 8:30 am – 4:40 pm | Networking reception to follow

WHERE:
KPMG Offices | 150 Elgin Street – Suite 1800 | Ottawa, ON

ABOUT THE SUMMIT:
Canada faces important decisions about artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, domestic innovation, and its relationships with international technology providers. Strengthening Canada’s digital sovereignty will require thoughtful policies, strategic investments, and partnerships that build domestic technological capacity while supporting an open, secure, and globally connected Internet.

The Canadian Internet Society’s inaugural Digital Sovereignty Summit will bring together leading voices from across government, industry, academia, and civil society for a full day of discussions examining the policies, infrastructure, investments, and strategic priorities essential to advancing Canada’s digital sovereignty.

Through dynamic panels, focused discussions, and opportunities for cross-sector engagement, the Summit will provide a forum to exchange ideas, catalyze partnerships, and chart a clear path forward, translating Canada’s digital sovereignty ambitions into practical action.

Thank you to our event’s Supporting Sponsors, Iristel, Qorsa, and KPMG, for making this Summit possible.
