AI Infrastructure & Governance Policy in Canada

From Principles to Practice: Shaping Canada’s Trusted, Sovereign AI

Canada is moving fast on AI policy. This keynote and roundtable will bring senior voices from government, industry, and academia together to confront the real questions: how to address procurement challenges, secure sovereign technology, and navigate international pressures like the CLOUD Act.

The discussion will also explore what business and government need from one another, the role of encryption in safeguarding trust, and how to strengthen Canada’s broader AI ecosystem. Insights will further inform TCIS’s submission to the federal AI Policy Consultation.

This event will be held exclusively in-person at the Rideau Club.
