Biography
J. Quinn Clement-Schlimm serves as Corporate Secretary for the Canadian Internet Society. He practices at Gowling WLG’s Toronto office as a member of the Firm’s Financial Services & Technology (FSxT) team, the Business Law Group, and the Blockchain Group. His experience also includes working as a legal counsel at a Schedule I bank (on secondment) where he handled payment matters as well as technology and enterprise agreements.
Quinn excels in navigating the complexities of commercial negotiation and drafting. His experience includes technology contracting, payments, mergers and acquisitions, and blockchain and cryptocurrency matters.
Quinn completed his JD/MBA program at the University of Toronto. During his time there, he served as an editor for both the U of T Faculty of Law Review and the Journal of International Law and International Relations. Quinn also holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto, Trinity College.
